Job responsibilities for a Sales Manager (KSA):

Location: Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Experience:

  • 10+ years working experience of leading Sales of consumer items within offline and online customers.
  • Experience working with major offline retailers.
  • Experience working with online retailers.
  • Sales experience catering in international markets.

These responsibilities cover various aspects of sales management in KSA, including team leadership, customer acquisition, stakeholder networking, event participation, and strategic planning.

  1. Industry Experience
    • Experience building distribution network within Retail and Online channels for consumer goods.
    • Proven track record of successfully launching new brands and maintaining the market share in the product category both in online and offline retail markets
    • Prior experience of working in Middle east (especially KSA) with favorable references from the territory/market
  2. Market Expansion and Target Customer Acquisition:
    • Cover all cities of KSA, targeting potential customers in Hospitals, Pharmacies, and both offline and online Retail.
    • Launch, market, sell, and develop business to meet sales targets for existing and new brands.
  3. Sales Target Achievement:
    • Meet daily, weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets.
  4. Team Leadership and Performance Management:
    • Initiate weekly sales meetings with team members and monitor their sales performance closely.
    • Manage, develop, coach, control, and motivate the sales force to ensure a high professional standard is achieved and monthly sales targets are met.
    • Assess the strengths and weaknesses of the sales team and manage the sales program accordingly.
    • Provide on-the-ground support for sales associates as they generate leads and close new deals.
    • Recruit salespeople, set objectives, train and coach, and monitor performance, ensuring assigned tasks and responsibilities are fulfilled.
    • Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop a plan to fulfill them.
  5. Stakeholder and Network Building:
    • Initiate weekly meetings with Senior Management.
    • Connect and build a network with social media groups in KSA related to mother and childcare.
    • Connect and build a network with stakeholders in Hospitals, Pharmacies, Retail chain stores, and Online Stores.
  6. Event Participation and Promotion Planning:
    • Participate in and present company brands at Industry and customer marketing and promotional events.
    • Plan the promotion calendar with each customer in advance for promotional events such as EID, Black Fridays, Singles Day, New Year, etc.
  7. Market Research and Strategy Development:
    • Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
    • Continually assess current business distribution channels, develop and evaluate their performance, and manage conflict, ensuring alignment with territory plans.
    • Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands the customer base and extends global reach.
  8. Reporting and Communication:
    • Provide a weekly report of field sales success and communicate data to superiors.
    • Initiate weekly meetings to streamline efforts in catering to specific customer needs, social media engagement, artwork, image, and content requirements etc.
  9. Professional Development and Company Representation:
    • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
    • Represent our company, with a comprehensive understanding of our offerings.
  10. Alignment with Company Goals:
    • Plan to ensure achievement of divisional and personal targets, aligning with company sales policies and strategies.
    • Ensure targets are delivered through people management, performance review, reward, and individual recognition.
  11. Forecasting and Sales Program Implementation:
    • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
    • Implement national sales programs by developing field sales action plans.

Company will pay for visa and travel and one week of stay from company expenses. Then after that the person has to arrange for his accommodation.

Arabic is not compulsory but will be added advantage to have.
